Tevva wins prestigious award with its technical partner AEM for High Density Switched Reluctance Motor
November 7, 2019

Last evening at the prestigious Collaborate 2 Innovate Awards by The Engineer, Tevva together with its technical partner Advanced Electric Machines Ltd, and others, won both the Automotive category and the overall Grand Prix prize for the development of its High Density Switched Reluctance Motor – of particular relevance to the Commercial Vehicle Market where peak efficiency is needed over extended periods of time on long duty-cycles. Sustainability of the overall motor design is a key winning formula, which uses no rare earth metals. Dr Widmer of AEM explains the three key ways HDSRM are more sustainable here.
