Tevva becomes the newest member of the Transport Decarbonisation Alliance- a coalition of countries, cities and companies – announced today, as part of the TDA’s presence at UN Climate Action Summit in NYC. The President of Costa Rica will likely represent all members of the TDA, who have succeeded, along with the broader coalition members of ACT in getting transport firmly on the agenda at the most senior level, as a key initiative for climate action at this key political UN summit. “Transport is the make or break of global climate action. ACT delivers transport action on the ground and will create a better future for millions of people.” says Carlos Alvarado Quesada, President of Costa Rica.
Official launch of UPS REEV’s in Birmingham and Southampton

Today, UPS introduced a new line of range-extended electric vehicles (REEVs) to its fleets serving Birmingham and Southampton, UK to overcome the range limitations of pure electic vehicles within the logistics industry. The advanced technology was developed in collaboration with Tevva and allows vehicles to automatically switch to zero emissions electric power when entering urban areas and clean air zones. Working with our globally recognised automotive testing laboratory partner MIRA Technology, we have already certified our traction battery to comply with United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Regulation 38.3. Additionally, our traction battery and high voltage distribution system has also been certified, by MIRA, as compliant with UNECE Regulation 100 Rev 1. Pushing the bar even higher, we are about to complete our latest certification programme and our traction battery technology certified to comply with ENECE Regulation 100 Rev 2 Part 2.
Tevva eTruck proves its capabilities responding to real-time, dynamic Clean Air Zone, Leeds

A year long collaboration with partners expert in air quality monitoring, and IoT, proved the capabilities of the Tevva ReX eTruck’s onboard software to interface with real-time air and traffic inputs, switching to electric-only-mode when entering a dynamic air quality zone. Tevva welcomed a £10m investment by Bharat Forge Limited (BFL), a technology-driven Indian metal forming multinational, which will spearhead its global expansion ambitions and create further jobs and investment at its Chelmsford, Essex plant. Bharat Forge, part of the Kalyani Group, a conglomerate with multi-sectoral interests, has been working on its research, design and technology strategy in the Electric Vehicle space over the last few years. Tevva will strengthen BFL’s research and development activities in the e-mobility space. Tevva has licenced its technology to BFL for the Indian market, giving Tevva unprecedented access to the massive Indian truck market.
